Senior Manager/Manager – SEC & Technical Accounting (1788)
The Senior Manager/Manager – SEC & Technical Accounting reports to the Senior Director, Corporate & International Accounting. This is an individual contributor role and will be in-office 4 days/week.
Responsibilities:
- Manage SEC Filings: Oversee the SEC drafting, review and filing process for the Company’s SEC filings, including, but not limited to, 10-Qs, 10-Ks and 8-Ks
- Research technical accounting matters: Assist with preparation of accounting memos and implementation of new accounting standards
- Remain current on disclosure requirements: Benchmark the Company’s disclosures against the Company’s peer group
- Month end-close: Ensure month-end closing process of recording journal entries, completing and reviewing reconciliations and issuing financial statements for corporate and consolidated are performed accurately, timely and efficiently
- Process improvement: Identify and implement best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness of processes, including automation
- Maintain internal control structure: Effectively manage internal controls over the financial statement close process, in accordance with the Sarbanes-Oxley standards for public companies
Compensation:
- Salary $125-150,000 depending on experience level plus 401k, health benefits and PTO

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required
- Prior Major Public Accounting or Public SEC filer company
- Prefer CPA or working to complete exam (active or inactive)
- 5-7 years of accounting experience required
- Experience in Excel required
- Experience in SAP preferred
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work cohesively in a team environment
