These careers are expected to grow 7% over the next 10 years and have a median salary of $73,812. Senior-level forensic accountants can earn more than $100k per year and may require additional certifications or an advanced degree.

Financial Examiners 

Financial Examiners are responsible for ensuring organizations are complying with financial laws and regulations. This position requires a bachelor’s degree at the very least, with some employers also requiring a CPA and/or Society of Financial Examiners certification.

This career is expected to grow 18% in the next 10 years and has a median salary of $81,430.

Financial Managers 

These professionals are responsible for financial reports, interpreting financial information, and providing investment and profit-maximizing recommendations.

Accountants

These positions typically require a bachelor’s degree, though CPA certification can help improve your career prospects greatly. If you want to rise to a senior-level or c-suite position, consider earning an MBA with a concentration in accounting.

Personal Financial Advisors 

Personal Financial Advisors help people invest their money and plan for their financial future, such as retirement or saving for college. At the very least you will need a bachelor’s degree, but most employers require some type of certification, such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP), CPA, or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).

This position is expected to grow 5% in the next 10 years and has a median salary of $89,330.
