Senior/Manager Tax & Auditing – Public Practice
Our client a Cape Girardeau CPA Firm is currently seeking an experienced Certified Public Accountant to join our team.  The available position is for a Senior or Manager of Tax and Auditing.   
We are one of the oldest firms in Cape Girardeau and offer full-service tax, auditing and consulting services to our clients.  We offer our employees a salary structure and flexibility of work schedule that can’t be matched at any other local accounting firm. 
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Complex tax preparation for individuals, estates, trusts and businesses
• Review and proof tax returns prepared by accounting staff
• Research unusual tax matters
• Consult with clients regarding tax planning
• Perform audit detail work on financial audits of various types of entities
• Assist in managing, developing and coaching professional staff
• Help develop, build and manage client relationships

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or other related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in good standing
• Minimum of five year’s experience in public accounting
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and QBO
• Familiarity with various accounting and tax software
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
• Motivated to pursue firm leadership through a partnership tract
