| Description |
The Technical Support Analyst will be responsible for assisting with technical support for systems and software used by the Finance department including developing and verifying the correctness and quality of reports, updating reports for system changes, as well as, performing and coordinating user testing of system implementations and upgrades. Specific responsibilities include:
- Active role in the creation, maintenance, monitoring, and documentation of Finance department reports using A/S 400 Query, PeopleSoft query, Crystal Reports, SQL Reporting Services, and Excel.
- Perform testing and validation of new systems, system modifications, and system upgrades.
- Includes following established test plans and performing detailed verification, maintaining testing documentation and performing reconciliation of financial and legacy data included in the systems.
- PeopleSoft Financials upgrades and implementation of additional functionality to improve processes.
- Document new functionality and work with users to implement the functionality if needed
- Provide support in troubleshooting system problems, working with users to observe, report, and resolve system issues.
- Submit work tickets to the IS department for Finance department system defects
- Track department network usage and perform annual review

| Qualifications |
- Degree in Accounting or Management Information Systems is preferred, but will consider someone with equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite applications, with exceptional skills in Excel required.
- Experience designing effective report templates, formulas, grouping and analytical reports through Crystal Reports, SQL Reporting Services, or similar database reporting application is desired.
- Ability to analyze and problem solve, working closely with others to coordinate and complete tasks timely.
- Ability to analyze and reconcile raw data and effectively manipulate the data, to create useful reports for senior management.
- Organizational and time management skills needed, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Detail oriented with ability to work in a team environment and be flexible to daily changing needs and job duties.
