- Manages the financial accounting policy and reporting group and is responsible for managing the external financial reporting for the company and supporting the 10-Q/10-K filings and the monthly financial accounting closing and consolidation processes.
- Responsible for managing the financial and technical accounting policy and compliance including consultation, research and advice to company’s businesses and programs.
- Will manage the due diligence and integration accounting activities for mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. The senior manager represents the company for financial and technical accounting matters with the corporate accounting policy and financial reporting groups and coordinates support for the public audit team.
- Other duties and responsibilities include:
(1) Managing employees performing the activities of gathering, analyzing, interpreting, preparing and reconciling financial information according to Company and regulatory accounting policies and procedures;
(2). Developing and executing integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives;
(3) Acquiring resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leading process improvements;
(4) Developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports;
(5) Providing oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes; and
(6) Managing, developing and motivating employees and mid-level managers.
