Job: MIT0207 Corporate Controller

Large private-equity company is seeking a Corporate Controller for the following:

• Manage the day to day accounting and financial reporting and their operating locations. This will include G/L, AP, AR and Payroll.  The department currently consists of 9 people.
• Provide technical expertise in the preparation of all external reporting documents as it relates to compliance with the SEC(10K’s and 10Q’s) and other filings necessary. Will also serve as the technical lead for qtrly and annual audits conducted by the external audit firm.
• Involved in all day to day treasury functions such as short term lending, cash operations, ACH and various other banking functions.
• Coordinate and facilitate the annual business planning process and coordinate finalized plan. Will also be involved in forecasting and analyzing status to plan and variances.
• Work on a variety of ad hoc projects as directed by VP CFO or other executive team members.

• BS Acctg
• CPA desirable whether current or in active status
• Highly prefer a combination of Public and private company experience or straight public
• Exposure to Manufacturing is a plus
