Job: GNI0130 Accounting Manager – Cash, Reserves & Legal Structure

The Accounting Manager – Cash, Reserves & Legal Structure will participate in the month-end closing process, especially as it relates to Risk Management Reserves (Workers Comp, Product Liability, General Liability, Auto Liability); Employee Benefit Reserves (Health & Welfare IBNR, FAS 112, FAS 106, Pension); Cash & Debt Accounts; Equity Accounts; & Legal Structure accounts (I/C Investsments & I/C Stock/Surplus).  In addition, assist in the review of the total company balance sheet at month end.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Review & analysis of the balance sheet, worldwide.
• Accounting & reconciliation of the risk management reserves & tracking the associated monthly expenses.
• Accounting & reconciliation of the employee benefit reserves & tracking the associated monthly expenses.
• Accounting & reconciliation of the equity accounts, including accounts associated with the legal structure set up.
• Overseeing the accounting & reconciliation of all the cash & debt-related accounts.
• All acquisition accounting reconciliations.

• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 8+ years industry experience or 4+ years of public accounting experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Access
• Experience in accounting for & reconciling all reserves identified above & working with 3rd party actuaries
• CPA preferred
